ALBERTA PIANOFEST July 6-10, 2017 Alberta, Canada

Gifted piano students from around the world study with leading pianists and pedagogues in the idyllic setting of the Canadian Rockies. Concerts, galas, and panel discussions provide are open to the general public.

SATURDAY JULY 8, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

What Good are Artists Anyway? A musical mélange & desultory panel discussion for the fatally curious, moderated by Jason Cutmore with pianists Timothy Anderson, Dr. Lynn Hughey Engelbert and Rick Phillips. Works by Bach, Soler, Halffter and others.

SUNDAY JULY 9 2017 at 5 p.m.

Spanish Music Extravananza: A concert with pianists Adam Kent and Jason Cutmore of beloved solo and duo piano works by Spanish composer Enrique Granados, with tapas, wine, and desserts during intermission.

Recently appointed to the Music Faculty of State University of New York at Oneonta, pianist Adam Kent has performed in recital, as soloist with orchestra, and in chamber music throughout the United States, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Latin America.
